Green with envy. I am GREEN with envy. It's so strong in me lately, and I try to curb it, but I think my flesh's biggest tendency is to turn green. It's my biggest battle lately. And honestly it makes me feel like a jerk (which I so totally am), because it all stems from comparisons. I know that God has an individualized plan for all of us and

Hi friend...just wanted you to know I empathize (if that's how you spell it!) Umm and I was also thinking about how funny lacking faith is because faith is a gift from God - so you should pray for more, but it takes faith to pray...anyway...I hope you feel encouraged soon and I'm praying for you!

I know how you feel. I've been wanting to do something significant for Christ for a long time now, and I've never been able to go and do it. I spent much of last semester angry with God because he was keeping me here this summer. He's since given me victory there, only to reveal to me that there is a tremendous battle here in the Fort and it is actually easier to go where adventure is, rather than waging war where you make your home.

A proverb for you: Proverbs 14:30 - A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.

That one hit me hard, and God used to it show me what he wants: my heart at peace. He tells me to rejoice. I think God finds a heart that strives for joy and gladness in Christ to be just as honoring as martyrdom.

I wish I had something more than that to offer you, but I will be praying for you.
