Before you say it, I will go ahead and admit I am a loser. Yes, I, for the most part, have no social life during the week. It might be because I work full time and wake up at 6 a.m. each morning... and/or it might be because I'm a Grade A Gina Rhymes. For Monday and Tuesday nights I hang out with the gang from Laguna Beach, the (very unlikeable) ( Read more... )

I'm kinda pissed cause i've yet to see a single review about this episode anywhere, maybe its a bit too early, but i really want to know a bit more about it, maybe some critics or someone can give some insight. I am confused too, i really doubt they could follow him home, so you're prolly right in that he'd have to agree to that.. i think.. I dunno, it is a big corp running it anyways and i know they're out for a profit, but at the same time, that kid's brain was pummled in, so he prolly isn't as bright as he once was, and cause i always thought the dad wasn't too receptive with the cameras and what not when he was visiting for the first incident when he was in the hospital, if that's the case i def doubt he would let them come film.. i dunno, i'm even more confused! oh the possibilities.

"but at the same time, that kid's brain was pummled in, so he prolly isn't as bright as he once was"

Hahahahahahahah.

I also failed to mention that you were the one who helped me bounce ideas around last night, so thankyou for that! We can be confused together.

Yeah, well that's all that usually happens when i'm around, mass confusion, so you're welcome there.

Maybe we'll find an answer someday, i'm thinking of writing to the heads of mtv and asking them just what they were thinking! I'll prolly just get some mtv shirt back though..

i heard that the cast of real world pretty much signs their life away with the contract. but um, airing the death of your mother and that phone call [which was definitely fucked up, even if he was drunk. "i love you, danny" "ok i'm gonna go"] without consent from danny is totally insensitive. i would be sooooo pissed. but maybe you're right, and maybe he wants to set an example. lets hope so, or this kid is a bigger deuche than even us real world watchers. but yeah, danny has been getting ALL the air time since the show started [ive missed the last couple episodes though. excluding danny-mother death, i saw the last 15 minutes of that one] anyways. maybe he wants to cry for everyone because he knows if he goes home, eh's probably not going to come back. but, hmm, nah, he'll probably come back. i just don't see him not coming back. but lets hope for the sake of him as a person that he doesn't come back. i mean. i don't think i'd want to come back. but then again, i don't think i'd want to be on real world in the first place ( ... )

I'm really not sure which I'd prefer. Danny giving his consent to MTV to show all of this personal stuff, which to me makes him kind of a big weirdo and MTV a little more human. Or, that MTV has him bound up in a contract and is airing most of it without his permission and his following him home without permission which makes MTV completely evil, and Danny pretty sympathetic.

And yeah, it seems no matter what the Producers want Danny to be the star of this show. I guess he is though, the cast member that had eye surgey, a romance with a roommate, and now a death in the family.

But, on a lighther note, could the Danny/Melinda relationship get any more boring?

for some reason your comment got deleted from my post. BUT i will answer whether you like it or not:

1. leanne likes mini-van lessons
2. i always think of you when i hear postal service. because that one time i joined you & friends to go thrift shopping downtown, we were listening to the postal service in your car, and that was my first time to REALLY hear them. :)
3. does banana sound good to you!?
4. man. i don't actually remember my first memory. because that was probably stupid, like seeing you in the hall and thinking you were cool. so instead, here's another. one day, we & others went to jefferson davis & it was my first time to go ever, and it was crazy & fun and you were crazy & fun/funny and i fell in love with you immediately. leanne was full of bravery this day, and i remember we found this cabinet with all these patient files in them. i stole some. the end.
5 .
