just between you and me, I don't know what I'm doing here.

I do this thing where I stop reading books once I reach a part that is just so wonderful and beautiful I could not possibly do any better by reading the rest of the book. This is why I stop.
I did this with Jean Paul Sartre's Nausea and I did this with A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man by James Joyce, but only the first time. I read Portrait ( Read more... )

the best/worst thing I could do for myself right now is to start writing again.

a poem I wrote in my sr year math class in january! it's not very good but I don't even write anymore so I can't really judge it.

yep it is 1am and I just took a shower and am really only like 1/2 done studying for my chinese phil midterm tomorrow. really excited that this is my last philosophy class, because it is so much work, and that wouldn't be so bad if I enjoyed it more, but I don't. 2.30am and yep I should be sleeping but I only took 1 nyquil tablet because I'm scared of getting liver damage and it might not put me to sleep like 2 of them would and somethings flying around outside because of the wind and I wish it wasn't so late because I want to read this book I'm reading called Future Primitive and it's all these essays ( Read more... )

feeling very isolated from anyone who does not live in burlington, vt this week.

I wish living here was less like living inside a giant bubble.

oh yep back from bloom today and when I drove home I was EXHAUSTED it was horrible. brought back half a litre of lime soda from big ben's (wow this name is gross) and it started to spill all over my floor at one point so I had to revert to keeping it on my lap. thanks, glass bottles. my week was mostly spent at chris's house with 7 other people ( Read more... )
