Wrapping Up

Jan 12, 2011 08:57

As many of you know, TC has been moving at a snail's pace. A lot of the people I like to write with have dropped out due to lack interest, time, both, scheduling conflicts, or attacks or rabid wallabies. Damn those creatures. In any case, I've decided I'm out too-- a game which updates only once a month and even then with only a vanilla "I kill ( Read more... )

I should write my characters out then as well, as I only joined to play with you and have been almost entirely absentee this last year. I can't imagine that I'd post again w/o you poking me.

Not a bad plan.

Do note that I only bothered to write an ending for Ash, not for Sputnik or Nicholas-- it was clear to me what Ash's exit strategy would be, whereas I don't have a sense where either of the other two are going.

Well, while Nicholas doesn't know it yet, he is about to be a ******. I think we can use that to get some resolution.

The best resolution for Ameryll would be to go home, and that could lead to resolution for Sputnik.

Frankly, I'm surprised it took so long. I considered TC dead-on-arrival at least a year ago, perhaps more.

A shame, because there was a lot of potential in my character, never tapped... perhaps he'll have further adventures elsewhere.

I'm an extremely stubborn person, and refused to recognize the situation at face-value at the time. Also, a year ago Ash wasn't in a position to have her story resolved in an interesting way. Now she is.

Ladies and gentlemen, Ash is officially no more. She has ceased to be. She has died and gone to meet her maker. She is a stiff. Stripped of life, she rests in peace. Were she not nailed to a pearch, she'd be pushing up daisies. Her metabolic processes are now subject matter for historians. She's off the twig. She's kicked the bucket, she's shuffled off this mortal coil, rung down the curtain and joined the L33t Ch0ir Invisibl3. She is now an Ex-Ash.

Good bye, Aiko. Largo would be proud.

Note to "instigator_ash":

The channel rights died some time after you unregistered your nick on IRCHighway. I've managed to revive it after talking to one of the network admins.
