Oh neat! I didn't know you wrote games for a living! What sort of games?

From your list, I've only played Tetris and FF2. Simant I love (PC not SNES).

I can hardly imagine playing simant on a console. That'd be painful.

I make what are called casual games, for the company called Funkitron. Casual games target an older, less computer-fluent demographic. They tend to be very easy to learn, and relatively forgiving of error. They tend to time-slice well as our target audience leads busy lives and want to be able to quit in the middle. They tend to be brightly-colored, friendly, and approachable. Our best-selling game is Slingo Supreme.

Of all the games we've made, the one I enjoyed making most was Funkiball, but it didn't sell well because it's more of a mainstream game.

Yeah, it is XD. I never got through it very far on the console nor did I try that hard.

I can't say I'm familiar with the company or it's games but I did check out the website. The whole site looks bright and colorful. When I get back from work maybe I'll have more time to check it out more in depth. That's cool though, to be writing games. (Is repetitive when sleepy XD)

Also, it's nice to see you're still about.

So, you were part of the Slingo development team? I swear, that game was addicting. ;-)
