I think Human Giant is hilarious. And for his part, Aziz is one of my favorite stand-up comics. I've caught him a few times and he's always slayed.

I just picked up the Working For A Nuclear Free City album and I haven't decided what I think of it yet. It reminds me of a ton of stuff, like late 90s/early 00s big beat like Lo Fidelity All Stars, but also early Primal Scream. They have a lot of ideas, that's for sure.

USC = University of South Carolina, or Southern California?

i like him, too, although he seems a bit out-of-place. but i think he's still funny.

i like that working for a nuclear free city album enough to see a show. the reference to lo-fidelity all stars is apt; i think they're more along the lines of a non-gay pet shop boys or like the best songs off the first electronic (you know, the new order spin-off) album.

USC means university of southern california. i'm 80% sure that i'm going to end up going there instead of wisconsin, because of funding concerns for my ph.d. my sister lives in l.a. (she is at UCLA doing her MBA), so that makes things more convenient. it was my top choice for applying to grad schools a year and a half ago, but i'm still considering wisconsin as an alternative.

Mmmm, Romantic Rights. I'll admit it--I listened to that song on repeat on several occasions when I'd first discovered it.
