Today Kevin and I drove to Smolak farms for an autumnal celebration. First we went to the bakery and got the best apple cider I've ever tasted, along with cider doughnuts. I nursed a pigeon back to health that landed on the window sill and threw up and pooed everywhere for about 15 hours. He was a young racing pigeon born early this year, so I felt even more obligated that the bird was someone's pet.
