[Robert still regrets what happened, to an extent. He regrets the fact that he let Ingrid get sick, that he'd deliberately exposed her to more pathogens even so, that he'd allowed that brief soft kiss...
Ingrid is his friend, though. And those things are his fault, so he needs to take responsibility for them.
He's been checking Ingrid and Aella regularly at the Battle Dome clinic - one of the few things he can drag himself out of his apartment to do - and today Ingrid does seem to be feeling mostly better. Still:]
... Is your condition still stable, Ingrid?
[Even if she asked him to call her that while she was feverish, it seems better than going back to "Ms. Grimmholtz".]
... I apologize, Ingrid, for almost giving up on you...
But I will not do so again.
[At her query, he smiles weakly.] Helios is a [- minute hitch here -] close friend of mine, here. He is a magician, and it might be possible for him to somehow assist you with spells.
... I think that, if the technology here is... lacking, then perhaps magic can compensate.
[It's a sentiment he shares due to Daisy, now, though he hadn't really thought of it in this case until this moment.]
No, you only did as I asked, and for that I am grateful. Even if I had died, I would rather have done so with you, having been able to feel the sun and the wind. [And being able to kiss you.]
Thank you.
[She gives him another smile.]
It seems the combination of magic and technology is not so abominable as they thought it was in my world.
[She sits down again. The last thing she wants to do is send Robert away, but all that emotional turmoil took it out of her already weakened body, and it's telling her what she really wants is sleep.]
[Robert doesn't blame her. He can tell that she probably wants to rest, now.]
I would be glad to, if he would be willing. It would not even take him particularly long... [The guy teleported inside his house, going to the Battle Dome won't be tough for him.]
At any rate, you ought to get some more rest, Ingrid. Though you most certainly look much better, your body needs to focus on regeneration right now.
[He puts his hand reassuringly against the malleable plastic of the bubble again.]
[She places her hand against his, trying to remember what it felt like without neoprene in the way. The reassurance of his return is like a small worry stone in her pocket. She'll take it out and run it through her mind nearly constantly until he does come back.]
... For now, please rest well. [A genuine smile escapes Robert here, before he nods, gathers up his nanocomputer, glances for the last time over the readouts for the bubble (all normal) and then goes to head for home.

I prefer your company when you are healthy, though...
And I am glad to... s-see you in much better health, Ingrid.
... I hope nothing like that ever happens again.
[It was terrifying enough when it happened once.] ... But, it is a risk every time the Malnosso kidnap you, or otherwise take you...
... I wonder if Mr. Sprensonne - Helios - could help you somehow...

[She trembles for just a moment, and then meets Robert's eyes, and calms.]
Who is Helios?

[The smile is reassuring.]
And here it seems... almost acceptable, I would suppose. Though Helios is not particularly adept at technology, by his own admission.
... Still, I do not see why he would be against the idea of helping you, and he may be able to do something constructive.

Perhaps you can bring him the next time you come?

... I will return again tomorrow; do not worry.

... He'll have a lot to think about.]
