[It came. It finally came.

Ingrid's intangibility device has finally come, and finally been sanitized, and her journal name finally makes sense.

So Ingrid is out on the town.

She's in every shop, around every house, staring at everything in wonder because she can finally see it up close and in person. And the people! People she can go up to and talk

[ Ange is just standing right outside one of the community apartment buildings, looking around for a bit when she spots the two from a little distance. She can't help but lift an eyebrow at the.. well, rather strange equipment, but she doesn't say anything about it yet. There are more pretty weird things in this place, after all. ... The girl seems somewhat familiar, though. ]

[You seem familiar too. Ingrid frantically flips through her mental Rolodex as she walks closer, steps slowing down as she gets closer and still can't place the girl in front of her. When she gets within earshot she stops and gives a friendly wave.]

Hi. Um... do I know you?

[ Ange is usually pretty antisocial - but hey, she can't ignore someone once they're that close and waving at her. She gives a slight nod as a sort of greeting back. ]

Hey. [ She frowns just slightly, trying to remember. ] ... We might have talked over the journals sometime.

I think so...

Ange?

[When it becomes clear that Ayumu isn't going to step around her, Ingrid subtly presses the off switch on her palm, rendering her temporarily completely intangible, and waits to see what he will do.]

[She'll wait. This is the most fun part of this game. Meanwhile she lets go of the button, rendering her contact points tangible once again.]

[Voice to Robert]

[After sleeping for a day and a half, and then being forbidden for another day to do anything more strenuous than sitting up and listening to the journals, Don managed to beg, plead, and cajole his way to a little freedom. Having obtained permission to go visit Frederic, Don will push his luck a little, and see if he can squeeze in another visit before anyone notices how long he's been gone.]

Hey Robert -- They let me out of the house. Frederic wanted me to come over but I'm leaving his apartment now. Can I stop by your place before I go back home?

[Voice]

[Mid-walk, Robert pulls out his journal, intrigued by the fact he has a message. He always has his journal with him, as ubiquitously as the communications nanocomputers back on Terra, and so he usually doesn't miss anything.

Still, his voice is surprised when he sees this communication.]

Ah... truly, Don? Wonderful - this is a remarkable opportunity. You see, I am accompanying Ingrid on a walk now that she has her intangibility device... would you be amicable to meeting her then as well? She has expressed interest in the proposal.

[Voice]

Ingrid? ... Oh, Ingrid. Of course, where are you?

[Voice]

We are still in the vicinity of the plaza - Ingrid has been exploring the buildings so far. [It may go without saying that Robert was awkward just walking into some of them with her.] But I b-believe she has seen almost all of them now.

... When she steps outside, I will ask her whether she would wish to accompany me home and meet you there.

[Mulder had come down with something not long after returning from the draft, but today he's finally up to stepping outside of his building to get a little fresh air...]

[Fresh air and a girl in a very unusual apparatus. He looks fascinated at once, and the theories are spinning through his head.]

...ok, you've got me. Is it an incompatibility with the atmosphere that's got you in there?

[Action]

[It's understandable that Mulder was distracted from the familiar scientist by the woman in the extremely interesting contact point suit. After all, Robert himself marvelled at it when he first saw it.

But he pipes up after a moment, albeit a bit shyly.]

Ah... actually, it is a device that keeps her from being exposed to pathogens. Ingrid would be more qualified to speak on it than I, though.

... Hello, Mr. Mulder.

[Action]

[Mulder looks a bit sheepish on having been so distracted by the weird device, and looks toward Robert, giving him a wave. He's really glad to see him, actually, since they hadn't had a good chance to speak yet since the draft.]

[The purpose of Ingrid's device also catches his interest and leads to more questions... but one thing at a time, if he can manage that.]

I'd be curious to know more about it.

...and how are you doing, Robert?

[Robert is glad to see Mulder again, as well. It's good to know that all his friends (with the exception of Helios, of course...) are alright.]

I know something about it now, so I can explain it if you wish, but it was Ingrid's father who created the device and its components.

...

A-And I am alright, I suppose... [This has less conviction than before, and after a moment, Robert admits:] ... well, if one d-does not count the fact that I am... s-still coming to terms with Helios' death.

... [Robert exhales a little. Even after knowing about it for a few days, it's still hard.]

... I kn-know he will return. And I do not want to make today an unpleasant one for Ingrid.

[Hey, Ingrid. Remember that kid who knows Disney characters?

Well, he's walkin' around town with some cookies from the bakery. He hasn't noticed her just yet, but it's not too hard to catch his attention.]

[She sees you, Ventus, and she sidles up to you, walking nonchalantly next to you without saying anything yet. How long till you notice she's there?]
