I dont think it's unfair however, as what prevents them from moving here or elsewhere? To them, it's just a fact of life I would think. Honestly, I can't see anyone leaving countries with mandatory service simply because there's such a slight chance you'lll actually be in any battle, and if you are, there's only a slight chance you'll die either. North Korea and Iran may or may not happen, but China might soon. The Chinese have a hard-on for Taiwan, and the Americans have a hard-on for defending Taiwan. With George Bush in office, he won't hesitate to charge in like Custer. We can only pray he goes along with the cavalry and gets wiped out. With Dick Cheney and Karl Rove. This guy is the rigger of riggers. No one came out to vote for this prick.

That's odd... no one? Everyone I know did, including myself. But hey, I can be no one if you like. Apparently the country is 51% no ones. Of course, that reflects badly on Kerry is he was defeated by no one. ;)

Of everybody I know that voted, only three people didn't vote for Bush. My friend in the navy, samjung, and myself. My family, and most of this neighborhood I live in voted for Bush. I'm the odd man out, having lived in both very liberal and very conservative places and fitting in in niether of those places -- my political ideologies also reflect this.
Damn, I wish my livejournal was always this active.
