I caved and filled out this survey that everyone's been doing.

~January~

1. did you have a new year's resolution this year?
I think I made several generic resolutions- lose weight, get a boyfriend, do well in school, etc.

2.Who kissed you at midnight?
No one.

3. Did it snow where you lived?
Yep. We got a ton of snow in January and school was cancelled for a week.

4. Do you like hot chocolate?
Sure.

5. Have you ever been to times square to watch the ball drop?
No.

1. Who was your valentine in 2005?
No one.

2. What did your valentine get you?
Eh, my mom got me chocolate and I think Brian sent me a carnation.

3. When you were little, did you buy valentines for your whole class?
I used to make my valentines with construction paper and copious amounts of glitter.

Nah

Probably not

I went to school.

Usually.

I don't think so.

I didn't, unless you count the brief post-prom trip to New Hampshire or the voyage to Poughkeepsie for my cousin's bar mitzvah.

1. What did you do on the 4th of July?
I went to a barbecue/pool party at an old family friend's house and watched the fireworks over the Esplanade at night.

Nope

1. Did you do anything special to end off your summer?
On the night before I left for Cornell, my family had a barbecue at my dad's house and we made s'mores. Some people came over my house later and I performed the "Broken" dance.

2. What was your favorite summer memory of '05?
One of the trips to Coldstone

I went swimming a fair amount at the gym

No

1. Whose house do you usually go to for thanksgiving?
We used to go to relative's houses in either New Jersey or Long Island, but the last couple years we've stayed at home.

Yeah

Mmm, Cornell. Friends, good health, freedom, peace, the BRMB

Kind of

No

3. What do you want this year for christmas?
Money for traveling and clothes

I liked everything I got

It's not too bad

6. How would you rate your 05?
It had its ups and downs. My favorite part of the year was probably late summer/early fall when I was getting used to college life. I was really happy then.

Eh, I need sleep. I'm flying to Chicago tomorrow to visit Elliot. I'm pretty excited. I've never been to Chicago or even to a different time zone, and apparently his mom already has a bunch of embarassing stories to tell me.

I hope everyone's having a good break. Mine's been up and down so far, with highlights including a trip to Connecticut, the winter concert, skating at Frog Pond, seeing The Producers, and lots of time spent at Maggie's house.
