I've been listening to classic rock - a lot. I love it actually. When the kids aren't in the van, I roll down the windows and crank it up. Loud. I love the looks I get when I pull up to a traffic light - crazy 30 something white chick in a mommy-mobile cranking up the classics. Awesome. Have changed my alarm clock to wake me up listening to it

Agreed without a doubt! I'm a Hamiltonian in my 30s, I grew up with it all :)

I mentioned GnR to Ani, the household encyclopedia on all things musical, and she classifies them as "hair metal." *giggles*

And then there's Styx and White Snake, Black Sabbath ... LOVE IT!
I wasn't allowed to listen to this music as a teenager - my mom had us on contemporary christian music only so I got my education in these tunes in college and after (my hubby LOVES this stuff, he got me hooked for sure)
