why I won't do a Beth Moore study

At one time, I was all over doing the syndicated bible studies. Bandwagoner that I was, I didn't think, I just followed. What's wrong with a Beth Moore study? It's scriptural, it's fun, it's challenging, it's at church. Can't go wrong. Right

I'm totally with you re: caring about qualifications. I also pay attention to what kind of college/university the qualifications people do have come from--Christian or secular, accredited or unaccredited. I take psychology-related qualifications with a grain of salt if they come from a Christian college, because of the risk that the person has been taught nouthetic counseling or "deliverance ministry" as appropriate ways to deal with psych issues.
