Hi Guys,

How is your weekend so far? Hope it has been great! This weekend for me will be filled with work, cos I'm trying to write up two papers for submission to two conferences, and the deadline is in the 1st week of July.

hello. :)

to answer your previous query on my field, im definitely not from the heavy electronics sector. im in IT. it may sound like idle talk as im not giving any real inputs here, i hope you would bear with me.

before you posted the report, i had noticed that the rear lights of some of the continental cars, the toyota vios & camry, are using lightsource which oddly looks like LEDs. you know, those tiny bulbs arranged in circular fashion.

and a few months ago, when i was having a trekking expedition in malaysia, a fellow trekker brought along his torch. the amazing thing about his torch is, it doesnt require battery. you need to crank it up via the hand grip. a more amazing thing is, the bulbs are multiple series of white LEDs! pretty bright.

what i know of LEDs are; they consume less power than bulbs but they generate lesser amount of light.

so i was surprised to see your picture, with the LED light so intense that it couldnt have been a LED.

please pardon my ignorance.

tho my working field is different, i started in school doing digital electronics. cmos, mosfet ... i think to give an analogy, these are ancient scribing tools compared to your state of the art PDAs. ;)

knowledge wise, definitely limited to what i learnt then. :)

lets do the coffee when you're back or when im lucky enough to go overseas! ;)
