Our Mr Brown

Hi Guys,

Mr Brown has been hitting some headlines at home I suppose.

I remember I use to read his column during MRT rides in TODAY. Most of his articles are pointed towards policies, happenings etc, and of cos, presented in humorous, satirical way. History has shown that no regime can last forever.

Look at Taiwan, the Kuomintang finally lost its grip on power in 2000.

Look at Palestinian Authority, Hamas was voted in in a freak election result earlier this year.

So, if a credible alternative party is not nurtured and a one-party state continues, it will be detrimental to Singapore in the long run for sure.

The post-1965ers want an opposition, can't run away form that.

Well, its not to say that the white current is not doing things right, just tat they need to be balanced. Its never a good thing to have some grp ruling too long.
I look forward to the day, for the brave ones to be in election next time!

Reminds me of V for Vendetta. Remember remember the fifth of november. That was when the tv producer got beaten up by government forces after the satire on the ruling figure.
