What do you think about:
5) World Involvement in Iraq: World involvement? I Think that the US has little business interveening to the extent at which we have chosen to invade their country. I believe that saddam had to be taken out of power, but I believe we went about it the wrong way and for the wrong reasons. The wrong way being an invasion and the wrong reason being oil. Osama was more our business and the focus was diverted away from him.
6) Cloning and Stem Cell Research: I dont know enough about it to form an educated opinion.. but based on what I've heard from friends I am for the research.
7) Same-Sex Marriage: Personally, I believe that marriage is between a man and a woman but that gives me no right to decide weather or not other people can marry within their own race. I have responsibility over my life, not the lives of others. Therefore, more power to same sex marraiges!
8) Internet Filesharing: I would be a hypocrite if I said that I was against it... I download music all the time. I believe we (the consumer) are over charged to a ridiculous degree. I do go out to cd stores to buy music that I really find talent oriented... such as the beatles, pink floyd, grateful dead, glen miller, etc.
9) The Death Penalty: I am conflicetd. I am against the death penalty becuase when does one have the right to take away life? But I am for it because spending up to 50,000 of tax payers a money a year per innmate is a ridiculous amount to spend
10) Michael Moore: I saw him speak last week at USC. I think he uses propaganda entireley too much in his speaches... and that has an effect on the general public who arent necessarily aware of the propaganda. I do like what he has to say, and I agree with most of his arguments.
11) The 2004 Presidential Election: I think its a sick portrayel of what our value systems are in the US. Its necessary, I dont like it.. but its better then the alternative (anarchy).
12) Religious Zealots: Hmm.. I personally dont believe in organized religion. I believe that people who are fanatically religious are in desperate need of reasurrance and answers. I view religion as an excuse for the unexplainable. One of my favorite quotes is... "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same "God" who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

13) Name a book or movie that changed your life, or at least really made you think. Why (or How)? Quantum A guide for the Perplexed has changed my life immensly. It has questioned every idea on life that I have had. For example, disprooving fate and free will. I dont necessarily agree with the book in its entirety, but its very thought provoking.

15) Who is your favorite artist and why? (Yes; this is a very broad question. It could be a painter, musician, actor, writer, ect.) I like the Renoir paintings. I remember going to a gallery in NewYork and standing infront of one for almost an hour. All art that provokes abstract thought and feeling is good art.

I believe that life begins with a persons inner beauty (So to speak) and affects the world outside. Things will continue to happen around us, it is how we deal with these "things" that make us who we are.
