Aging

My parents are getting older, and I've been looking to see how much I can do for them at a remove to supplement the times I am able to help them in person. Last year after Thanksgiving, I found a device for my Mom to help her get in and out of the car more easily as she was having trouble swinging her legs in and out. and find it very easy to use. I use it for ankle socks, knee socks and tights. It's made my life immeasurably easier!

Some of the comments I read about similar devices complained about it not holding the sock well. Did you have any issues with that?

I haven't! There's a circle of rubber that holds the sock in place, but doesn't interfere with getting the sock on the aid. Though everyone's different. I know people who've tried a few different models until they found one they liked. Luckily, they're not hundreds of dollars!
