Maybe I should limit myself to one of these per week?

Better understanding of non-euclidean space through crochet! (And you wonder why this craft appeals to me..?!)

Though I object to it being called a 'feminine handicraft' - I know men who can crochet...

ted, crochet

Presumably it's easy as long as you have the crochet mallet? Or am I getting mixed up again? :)

I don't know if this is the same woman, but there's a group called 'woolyhead' or something similar that were exhibitors at the craft fair (ravelry) I was at recently. It looked AMAZING.
Since joining ravelry, I've really found I enjoy knitting again - you can sign up at http://ravelry.com (the queue isn't too bad at the moment) and have an explore - it's free and well worth it.

One of the best ways to dismiss an art form is to call it a handicraft. Next time you see Melle, ask her about it - her rant is beautiful and should be recorded for future generations of ranters to study.
