YOu are so singing my song! *scoots intensefemme over and crowds into the pew* I don't like it (or arse) because we don't say it that way over here. And yes, it totally takes me out of the story. There are a number of words and expressions that bother me. And I'm not talking about the Canadian/Brit/Oz ways of spelling some American words with a "u" (humor, color, etc.) - I notice those alternate spellings but they don't take me out of the story. Kerb does, though. :)
