I try to stay out of political discussions because...well just because, but I would like to point out that with Korea and Vietnam that the U.S. went in to assist an ongoing conflict. ((I personally think we shouldn't have been involved in either but it was way before my time with Korea and slightly before my time with Vietnam

oh, yeah, i know, i just wasn't gonna edit the e-mail as it was going around. too much effort. i'm for helping other countries obviously, even if the country they're fighting with hasn't really attacked us, depending on the circumstances, of course.

but, i got fed up with the political crap all over lj damning my party when its clear their's is just as flawed. and they always will be because they're made up of PEOPLE.
