It was far too easy: I made rectangles with rounded corners, shaded the outline a little darker than the fill, dropped a small shadow, and added "tape" with a light-colored rectangle that had a slightly darker outline and a transparency applied only to the fill. The trickiest part was getting an outline that was visible for the tape, but didn't scream "I AM AN OUTLINE."
It helped that I had real paint chips in front of me for reference -- I even copied the colors (but not the names, it was a brand that only used numbers).
How is the stack of photos working for everybody with your assorted platforms? OK?
I could pay $2.99 to have the GoodWidgets logo removed and get more photos in the stack, but since I'm not sure I'm keeping it it didn't seem necessary.
