It's time! Prompting is closed, and now it's time for you to claim those wonderful prompts that have been left over the past week!
Let's go over the quick and dirty prompt claiming rules, shall we?
♥ Sign-ups will run from August 22-September 5.
♥ Prompts can only be claimed ONCE. We will cross prompts off once they are claimed!
♥ However, that will be done on Leigh and Sam Standard Time, which is also known as "when our schedule allows." So when you sign up, you will list your top three prompt choices. If someone has already claimed your first prompt choice (and we didn't get it marked off fast enough), you will be given your second prompt!
♥ Prompting is first come, first served!
♥ Unlike last year, this year's fest is ANONYMOUS! Please don't go telling everyone which prompt you chose and what sort of entry you're planning.
♥ Also unlike last year, you are allowed to pick your own prompt. Obviously, we would prefer if you didn't-- because isn't that half the fun, challenging yourself with something that wasn't your idea? However, if nothing tempts you, you can choose your own prompt.
♥ Please respect your prompt. While prompts are meant to be interpreted as the writer/artist sees fit, please don't ignore the requested pairings and squicks.
♥ Due to the amount of prompts and variety of characters and pairings, we tried to streamline the search for the pairings that you're interested in by rearranging some pairing orders in the prompts (so you don't have to look for Dramione under Draco/Hermione, Hermione/Draco and Dramione). Pairings are now ordered alphabetically by first name (Draco/Hermione, Ginny/Luna) with two exceptions:
1. If the prompt requests one specific character with a variety of possible other characters (ex. Blaise/Hannah, Blaise/Ginny, Blaise/Rosmerta, Blaise/anyone really) then the prompt lists that favored character first, no exceptions. If the prompt lists a variety of possible pairings with no favorite then the first pairing listed was the only one reordered to be alphabetical (ex. Draco/Hermione, Tonks/Charlie, or Seamus/Pansy, please!).
2. Barring the first exception, if the pairing involves any of the following: the Trio, Draco, Severus Snape, Remus Lupin, or Neville Longbottom, those names will be listed first (ex. Draco/Abraxas, Neville/Hannah). If your pairing involves two characters from this list (Remus/Severus) then they are alphabetically ordered (Draco/Harry rather than Harry/Draco).
♥ You are under no obligation to sign up if you prompted. Likewise, you don't have to have prompted in order to sign up! We welcome everyone, so spread the word!
