Submission guidelines
For All Entries:
♥ All entries are due by October 31, 2017. Deadline extensions will be granted on a case by case basis.
♥ This should go without saying, but all entries must be entirely new and created for this fest. Please don't turn in an older piece that just happens to fit the prompt you picked!
♥ Please don't forget the RULES when creating your entries.
♥ When you submit your entry, please use the following header:
Author/Artist Header
Fanmix Header
♥ E-mail all submissions to InterhouseMods@gmail.com
♥ When submitting, please include your username and your prompt number in the subject of your e-mail.
♥ If you have to drop for any reason, please let us know! We want to make this a fun, easy fest for everyone, but we would appreciate a little heads up if you have to drop out. Likewise, if you need an extension, please let us know as soon as you are able. We're here to work with you, and we want you to be able to participate! We promise, we don't bite!
For Written Entries:
♥ Text-only entries must be a minimum of 1,000 words! There is no maximum word count (bring on the epic!).
♥ Written entries must be beta read! We reserve the right to return a submission to you if it violates our rules or contains egregious errors. We'll be posting a sign-up for betas later on, but here are a few helpful links for those who need a beta!

♥ Text-only works should be attached in .doc, .rtf or .txt format with the header included at the top. Do not send fics in the body of the email. The appropriate HTML code must be in the fic if you want certain words or phrases in bold or italic.
♥ If your fic is longer than ~10,000 words, it will be hosted at
interhouse_fest, our dreamwidth community. This is a change from previous years.
For Fanmix Entries:
♥ Header information should be in the body of your submission email.
♥ Please, provide coverart for your mix. The coverart doesn't have to be grand but it does have to exist and should not exceed 400x400 pixels. Attach the image to your submission email.
♥ Also provide a track list. The list can either be in the form of a back cover or listed in a .doc, .rtf, or .txt file with any desired HTML included. Attach the image/document to your submission email.
♥ Any music you intend to share should be hosted on your own mediafire/box.net/file share site of your choice. The link should be provided in your submission email along with cover art and header.
For Art Entries:
♥ Art should be attached to the email with the header information in the body of the message.
♥ Photo manipulations are not considered art as defined by this fest. Such submissions will not be accepted.
