Religion: Technically Methodist, but I'm not really big on the organized religion thing. I don't believe most of what I'm supposed to. Yes, I believe in God, but I'm not sure about a lot of other things.
Favorties
Type of music: Well, I'm pretty open to anything. I'm not big on the rap/country thing though.
Bands/Singer: Definately Michelle Branch. I love that she writes all her own songs, and plays the guitar. Especially after she got such a bad start with Broken Bracelet when everyone was into Britney Spears and N'Sync.
Foods: Chinese food. How can you not love Chinese food?
Holidays: I like Christmas. Just the way it makes me feel..all "warm and fuzzy."
Animal: Well, I like dolphins. They've just fascinated me ever since I read Madeleine L'Engle's A Ring of Endless Light.
Color: Lavender right now. But it kinda depends on my mood. Generally a shade of purple though.
Books: I've recently fallen in love with To Kill A Mockingbird. That would probably be my absolute favorite. I think it's just brilliantly written, and I love all the charactors.
Games: I like Monopoly and Chess. I love how chess makes you think.
Sports: Wow. I'm not really big on sports. Probably because I'm not even remotely athletic. But, if it counts, dancing.
Questions
If you had only 24 hours to live, what would you do?: I would tell all the people I care about how much they mean to me, and I'd try to spend the day as simply as possible. Maybe go to the mall, and a movie, talk on the phone with my best friends. Hang out with my parents. Stuff I do everyday that I'd really miss.
How would you describe yourself overall in 10 or less words?: I'm pretty idealistic, but I try to like everyone.
What would you do if someone just randomly flicked you off?: I would laugh, really really hard. My teacher accidently did that one time, and it was just the best thing ever.
You have three wishes. How would you use them up?: World peace? Lol. No, sorry I had to say it. I honestly have no idea what I'd wish for. I'm pretty content with my life, and I don't think I'd be able to wish for something that would make me happier. I'd always be afraid of the consequences of my wishes, so I'd probably give them up.
Your thoughts on..
Homophobia: I totally don't get why people are against something that just makes a person happy. I mean, even considering an amendment that takes people's rights away is truly hypocritical. Yes, there are laws to protect people, but I don't see how homosexual people harm anyone. Heterosexual people do terrible thing all the time, so I really don't see anything wrong with it.
Abortion: I'm totally against it. To me, it seems like murder. There's this innocent baby, that has no way of defending yourself. There's always adoption. And if over-population is a problem, there's only one solution..waiting to have sex.
Sex Ed: It it's taught the right way, I'm all for it. I've had teachers though, that only seem to encourage students to have sex.
Love: Wow. This one, I don't know how to answer. I think love is one of the purest, simplest emotions on Earth, but yet one of the most complex. It does things to people that are indescribable, but yet, even babies are capable of feeling it. Awesome thing.
Hate: It's just a human emotion. Not quite the opposite of love, considering there's passion in both, but as far as the complexity (word?) I don't think "hate" really is complex. It's simple. You either feel it or you don't. *Nods* Wow that was hard too.
Vegetarianism: I'm not sure I see a point. What are we going to eat if we don't eat animals? If you get right down to it, it's a simple fact that if we didn't eat the animals, they'd be the ones with an over-population problem.
Religion: It's cool if you're into that type of thing. As long as that's what you really believe.
Pedophilia: Um, what can I say? It's pretty messed up if you get right down to it. Heh..
