I put a comment on here so I could speak to Joe's concerns, and have deleted it because this is something that shouldn't have gotten past the Council list. Joe will be able to read it, maybe others but I'm not sure, but it wont be here beyond the initial notification.

My choice to comment publicly was not accidental -- I feel major administrative and genre changes like this should be know to council, and I came by the information from someone who themselves is not on council either. So, this is important, and the word is most certainly 'out'.

I'd love to respond to your previous response, though. You made some great points worth sharing.

By the current rules we have for dealing with this situation, it doesn't count as an Administrative Change because it's a plot proposal, which are not to be distributed and discussed. I asked the Head Coordinator's opinion about responding to you here originally, and she was ambivalent; while it's not permission, I'll take whatever slings and arrows may come of it. Your concerns were clear and conscise, and well-presented enough that I felt I could respond to them and it would remain academic and generally beneficial to any further discourse
