The use of BlackBerrys, iPhones, Google and Twitter by jurors is wreaking havoc on trials around the country.

Thank you! I agree with you about Sir Goodwin--it's all too easy for some people, when faced with a problem that defies easy comprehension, to latch onto a convenient scapegoat. Are there serious, systemic flaws in the institutional mechanisms whereby we, as a society, distribute resources among our members? Undoubtedly. Does that mean that the managers of individual banks ought to face retribution at the hands of popular vigilantes? Why not bring back the guillotine and the Terror?
