Trying something new -- I wrote a Lily/James fic!  And I'm posting it here at my journal because I don't know of any communities for good old-fashioned PG-rated het fics (seriously)!  Also, a big thanks to brighty18 for being such an awesome beta!

This fic doesn't necessarily "fit" with the R/S world I've written in up til now, in which James knows about R/S before it happens, but my assumption for this story is that Lily knows from Remus, and James knows from Sirius, but nobody really talks about it, and Peter may not know at all.

This is really lovely, I think it's the most convincing James/Lily I've ever read! Your Lily is great, all fiery and independent and really rather wanting James to kiss her after all. And the little glimpses of Snape in there were so sad. Fantastic!

I totally agree; fic, for me, is like real life, in that it doesn't matter whether a couple is 2 guys, 2 girls, a guy and a girl, etc. -- as long as they are right for each other. And I'm glad this piece turned out feeling right.
