Thank you!! :D I wouldn't have used his name at all, actually, if Harry hadn't (I should probably make a note somewhere that that's a quote from DH, although most everyone probably knows that). It's like, when you think about someone who's that much a part of you, you don't really refer to them by name in your mind, do you? (or maybe I'm weird?! ha)

Oh, I know, I know. I just had to do it. They're both so effed up, it kind of almost sort of a tiny bit makes sense in my mind (at least for the purposes of this story).

I can imagine Remus just papering over his losses and trying to get on with life as best he can.

Yeah, I think he learned to do that very early in life, and life just kept throwing him shit that he had to try and get over. =(

*omg* The last section was amazing.

"She seemed so desperate sometimes, so insistent that he love her back, so naïve and determined, that he thought maybe, just maybe, she would have. . It wouldn’t be right, it wouldn’t be fair, and so he didn’t, because he felt guilty enough as it was, giving in to loneliness and staying one night when she asked him if he wouldn’t like just one more cup of tea."

So sad, for both of them. But it's so believable, for her to have reminded him so much of Sirius. *sighs*

I kind of want to hug Remus right now...so well done ~lol~

Thank you!! I always thought maybe (despite the pink hair and of course the breasts) Remus saw a bit of a family resemblance with Tonks, maybe even her personality (before JKR made her all dopey-lovesick, blargh). Although he would never admit such a thing to anyone but himself (if even that).
