Found a new journal style that I looooove. And I'm going to be a good doobie and start diligently tagging my entries in order to give them some sort of organization. Can't say I'll be perfect at it, but it's worth a shot.

I used to really scare myself when I was little. I would think about dying and how I would no longer exist. It got to be really creepy; I had to stop.
The worst part of not being religious, I think, is having to go to church for funerals and memorial masses, which I'm sure make religious people feel better. For me, it's just a more painful reminder that a person I loved no longer exists.

yup. agreed. and i didn't feel that way until i saw my dad's body in a box. i just looked at it and thought, "it's not him anymore." part of me felt better, and i wanted to share that line of thinking with my family, but they didn't find any comfort in it.

I take comfort in knowing there's an end. It's really fucking scary, but eternal life always scared me more. Even before Tuck Everlasting.
