i'm not sure why i never got around to posting my chicago pictures, well, probably because re-sizing them all is a huge pain in the ass... but i have nothing but time, so here we go: [ i love run-on sentences ]. the chicago cubs vs. the new york mets [ we had amazing seats, where we could see the entire field. and hebrew national hot dogs are amazing ! ]
after the game, we went to millennium park. [ mind you there was a rain delay during the game, which means we got soaked... then after the rain delay was over the sun came out and completely baked us... so i was a wet/hot/sweaty mess because the boys didn't want to go back to the apartment to let me dry my hair :'[ ] oh and during the rain delay a guy totally ran onto the field and ran the bases, hahahaha, funniest thing ever, i wish i had a picture... they arrested him before he made it to home plate though :|. oh, these millennium park pictures were all reflections taken in "the bean" which is kind of like this giant mirror in the shape of a jelly bean which you can walk under and everything [ trippiest experience ever ].
then the next day we went to the art institute [ which does not allow flash while taking pictures of the art work ]. so, these are not very high quality and are quite grainy [ sorry ]. so much more amazing in real life.
and, lastly was the john hancock building, which had the most amazing views of the city. really, if you're ever in chicago, skip the sears tower and go to the hancock building. these pictures do it no justice, it's really incredible. the down side is, their elevators suck [ we had to take the service elevator up, which was quite nerve racking ]. though, it was so worth it.
bon voyage !
