I meant to post this sooner. I was at the library last night helping to put some finishing touches on this display. When we agreed that black backdrops would enhance the look of things, I ran home and grabbed every black bedsheet, tablecloth and towel I could find (luckily, my interior design aesthetic owes more to Johnny Cash than Laura Ashley). Busy busy busy
Memorial Day weekend was a happy sort of whirlwind of sights and sounds. I make a jagged counterclockwise loop of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut by car, train, foot, motorcycle and subway, visiting and eating well along the way. I returned a book ("Love is A Mix Tape" by Rob Sheffield, which I really liked) to the West Hartford library at Brokeback Square as part of a round of errands I ran after work this evening. Chris-ness in April
Saturday was National Rebuilding Day (f.k.a. Christmas in April) so I spent the day working on an older couple's house in the North End.
