I plan to write more in a day or two. "I'm so sad" is more or less where I'm stuck right now.

Thank you for writing this. I've not been able to write anything coherent, though I didn't know her and can't explain why I feel so enormously sad. I feel like I'd only just rediscovered her.

I enjoyed what you wrote very, very much. I haven't read anything by Diana Wynne Jones, but shikuchi has, and I've appreciated her vicariously through her. Many have recommended Fire and Hemlock to me; I think it's the one I'll try first, when that time comes.
