To whomever decided to do me the 'favor' of applying safety padding in my apartment the other night while I slept: your technique is poor. The dog has already chewed a whole in one of the table protectors and gotten half his head stuck in the hole

It sounds as if they should have used a dog-proof padding.

Yes, if such a thing is available.

Perhaps I am mistaken, but I believe most people do not need padding in their homes, dog-proof or not.

Clearly you have not met the dog.

[And it's habit of skidding into walls]

[...okay, next time he sees you at Housekeeping, Veda, you're going to get a Barry giggling in your direction because that's the funniest thing he's heard all week.]

How did he manage to get his head stuck in there?

Apparently he forgot that the only thing on the table is wood and nothing more interesting.

Just chewed a head-sized hole and stuck it in there, huh?

Good thing he can't see you Lyle interveningly May 12 2011, 23:44:09 UTC
Closer to snout-sized.

Nothing he couldn't get out of, I assume! But I dread to think about how it would come out.

I had to remove him myself. But he is fine.

If you mean to speak of the dog's intelligence - no, it is not.
