I think it would be safe to assume that others have noticed, dear. *amused smile* If you don't mind me asking, exactly what rock have you been hiding under? ♥

Well, uh, not a rock so much as I've just been working a lot. And I don't normally go out of the house much.

And, er... hi. *hides*

*raises eyebrow* Working? Where, in a dungeon? The sun is a little hard to miss...

You don't get out much, do you, dear? *smile*

No need to be shy. I don't bite. Much. ♥ And what would your name be?

Well, I don't know that my workspace would be considered a dungeon, but it is somewhat underground and there are computer cables blocking the windows and... um...

*nervous smile*

I'm Ranyl? *squeak*

My specialty isn't in electronics...but I think even -I- could've safely assured you that a normal nanocomp wouldn't have held up under a Thunder spell.

I'm curious about this new nanocomp you plan to build, however. I assume since you're bothering to plan for such an undertaking at all that you're not stuck in the castle as are so many of us? How fortunate for you.

Well, I didn't expect it to work the first time, but I was hoping for a slightly less... er... explosive outcome. I think the new nanocomp will have an enlarged vector port reciever, and an expanded set of 1080f-c-l drive supporters, thus allowing it to hold 60mws of light-induced energy, as opposed to the regular 20 mws. The configuration will be slightly more complicated, and the real trick here is keeping the nanocomp the same size while adding so much "space".

And... um... what castle?

-nods-

You should keep me informed of your experiment. It would be refreshing to hear from someone not so caught up in the rest of the world as to forget the scientific one which makes so much of everything possible. -slight smile-

I suppose that means you're not here as well. Here in Castle Oblivion on a wild goose chase to "find the light". -shakes head-

*blushes a bit* I will, thanks.

I'm definitely not in any castle. I guess it's good that someone is searching for the sun, at least. Though, I don't know why (or how) someone would put the sun inside a castle...

But... um... good luck?

You haven't noticed the sun was gone? ... *gives him a peculiar glance*

Well, if your new nanocomp requires thunder, then it is of little use. Not everyone can use that spell, so you better develop a new energy source. The key to success is targeting the world, not alienating it.

At least, that's what Father says.

*mumbling* Well... the first step is developing it... then a power source... *embarrassed*

Hmph. Don't be so easily discouraged. You'll get no where that way.

Ahah, the sun's been gone for a while, kid. It's the reason most of us are stuck inside this castle.

And using Thunder on a NanoComp? Definitely not a good idea.

By the way, has anything...strange happened in the outside world (aka. Sanzen)?

Oh, and the name's Demyx. :D

*embarrassed fidgiting* Yeah, people have mentioned as much...

It was just an experiment. *blush*

Um... strange? I d-don't think so. I haven't really noticed anything...

I'm Ranyl? *squeak*

Ah, sorry, didn't mean to come off as mean or anything... *feels bad*

Experiments are fun~ I used to do some all the time when I was younger. 'cept they weren't as scientifically advanced as yours. Mostly stuff like "let's see what happens when you stick crayons in the microwave and hit 'high'". Yup, that stuff...

Hm, you sure? *sighs* Oh well.

Ranyl, huh? You seem interesting. We should meet up sometime if when I get out of this castle.

Oh, no, you weren't mean or anything, I just, um, should've noticed earlier and... stuff. *blush*

Crayons in the microwave? *giggles* I tried that one a few times to see which colors melted the fastest. Turns out the blue melts the fastest, but red takes the longest. I think it has something to do with the ionization and colorization process. *blushes, realizing he's talking way too much*

Considering how long it took me to realize the sun was gone, I don't know if I'm the best source of information...

Um, that sounds nice... *blush again*
