Anybody awake out there? It's Smoke and I'm looking at my bar, rather upset by how much damage the fire did. Guess I'm going up to Temp to raid an empty room. I don't need a beautiful cot or anything, but it'd be nice to have a pillow & blanket. Starting tomorrow I'll be fixing the place up by hand, just like how I built it

[Ghost was in no rush to have this conversation in the slightest. He dragged his feet in getting his coat on and shuffled towards the elevator with nervous energy. Honestly it had been bad enough thinking that he was the only one who had forgotten the relationship. But if Smoke didn't remember--well now what did they do? It was like they were strangers all over again. Only worse because now they were strangers with a history that everyone else remembered. Everyone but them.
Just how the hell was he gonna break this to the guy? "Hey you don't know me and I don't know you but once upon a time we totally an item. Nice to meet you?" How did he keep finding himself in these most awkward social situations?! God damn Sphere.
He was worried. What if he saw Smoke and felt nothing? What if he saw Smoke and felt something? For some reason Ghost had the sinking feeling he truly sucked at relationships ( ... )

Dreadlocks? What the heck does that look like?
[Smoke wasn't sure, but he expected that by the time he stood at the Elevator long enough, he'd find someone standing around equally confused.
Unlike Ghost, he was pretty chill about the whole thing. Smoke knew that this guy 1) was named Ghost, 2) knew Aurora, 3) had been ordered by Aurora to talk to Smoke, 4) had been referenced as "your Ghost" by Aurora, 5) wouldn't tell Smoke the truth about Ghost for 3 days, because 6) Smoke and Ghost had known each other prior to the raging fires that had overtaken the Sphere.
And the guy had 'dreadlocks', whatever that was, and - apparently - the shy/quiet type. For Smoke? It was little more than meeting someone he only knew over the journals for the first time.]
"Hmm... Ghost, and dreadlocks... and... oh!"

Anyways when I got back at first I didn't realize I'd forgotten anything because well...you were dead too. I didn't remember you or the bar. I used to work there.

That's weird, 'cuz I definitely remember Blood - she was in my dream - and a lot of other guys who worked at the bar. Alexi, Kanin, Grift... even Spike was there, and I don't know him that well. So if you worked at the bar... maybe I never noticed you? That'd suck, 'cuz you seem like a nice guy...
