Oh please, oh please, oh please, oh please, oh PLEASE!
Elvis’s golden tail swept the creamy tile floor as he waited for Kevin to drop another chip of deliciousness.

“Good boy, now shake.” Kevin’s voice was sweet as the chips were salty and crisp.
A paw went up and hung in the air for the man to hold.

Kevin beamed at the dog that he knew he was spoiling. He also smiled because he knew Nick would be piss off with him for daring to give his dog sugary, salty scraps. It was hisdog and no one but him could spoil it rotten. But Elvis was willing to keep a secret if Kevin was willing to keep passing the chips.

“Down. Now roll over.” Elvis performed each trick skillfully and greedily ate his reward.

“Nicky is going to kiiiillll you.” Joe said dragging out the word kill like a kindergartener about to tell the teacher that Kevin was eating all the blue crayons or not sharing his blocks.

“Go find grandma.” Kevin told the retriever and Elvis took off looking for Denise who was somewhere in the house. “I can’t give the dog a little snack?” He asked innocently turning to smile at his brother.

Joe stepped closer “Well, you know how Nicky feels about people messing with what is “his”. So why don’t you treat what is yours?” His tone remained innocent.

Kevin’s smile widened and his laugh lines around his eyes showed “I only give treats to good boys.”

Joe light up “Good, because that is exactly what I am.”

“Fine then, sit.” Kevin ordered; he was not to worried that mom and Frankie were home and could walk in. Hell, it made this game more fun. Joe pulled out a chair from the kitchen table and sat down legs spread.

“Oh, what a good boy you are” Kevin gushed like he did for Elvis. “Do you want a chip or something else?”

“A chip would be nice, but I think a kiss would be better.”

“I don’t think that was worth a kiss” he teased as stepped closer and threaded his fingers through Joe’s dark hair. “Now beg.”

Joe’s eyes said it all but his bottom stuck out. “Oh please, oh please, oh please, can I have just one itty. Bitty. Little kiss.” He was the best beggar in the house.

Kevin smiled and kissed the pout away. Joe was right he was a good boy and absolutely deserved a treat for trick of making Kevin fall in love with him more each day.

A/N: A little inspiration brought on my own baby, Kaiser, who has big the biggest brown eyes and really wants my lunch.
