Isn't it amazing though to contemplate God's mercy? This was pointed out to me last week... that all the Church asks is that you show up. At least once a year, just show up. Please. You're still my child, the Church says... even if you talk the whole time, as long as you think about the Lord before you receive Him. If you concentrate on Him for the time you're in line. Just show up. He will do the rest; He has already done it.
It would be better for you, chatty people, if you knew and appreciated what you were doing. If you recognized that you are not your own and that the whole meaning of your existence is on the altar right now.
But that's what we're for. We've been given so much, Christine, and no one is given faith only for themself. Keep on praying for them, and just know that "His grace is enough" for them too :)
And remind me of this the next time I'm irritated about the same thing!
