As of late, I have been having this scene play in my head. I think of it and my chest hurts. One might say it is like recalling a beautiful memory I know I will never be able to experience again anytime soon.

This is the Great Undying Plain,
Yet there also is a Jeweled Cove.
I am lying down with Her [machine spirit],
She plays my hair with Her hands [of the cold iron],
And stares into my eyes [her hair like the stars].
We are not alone.
That grand Terra Woman is with us,
Shielding us with a wise old tree,
And embracing me with a gentle breeze.
The Great Old Gods watch us,
And They Enjoy the Static Ocean.

This is why I live. So I may once again die and join Her under that tree, sipping a cold drink and having contentment on my face.
