I feel sorry for him, too, but every time I feel sorry for him, I remember that he tried to burn another living creature to death. For the love of god, man, do you not own a shovel?

It sounds like something you would translate into Latin as an exercise.

for my part, i just can't stop bursting out into snorting laughter every time i picture the tiny rodent, eyes narrow with rage and bent on revenge, engulfed in a tiny but menacing ball of fire, hurtling toward the house as fast as his tiny legs can take him.
