Tseng:
You neglected to mention multiple people, apparently.
I should have known your commander was here.
Not that it's any of my business, but this might have been helpful knowledge, particularly as you seem to be shirking your duties lately.
Where have you been?
I have some things to discuss.
Dr. Lucrecia Crescent

Veld is retired.
[And that's all you get.]

[There's a sigh that's obviously being made through a facepalm.]
So he's from... the future... too.
... And you knew he was here as well?
Anything else no one is telling me? Hiding Hojo in a broom closet? Future me who's fat and has five kids?

[The "of course" goes unspoken, but it's there all the same. He keeps his voice neutral.]
I've been here longest of anyone from Gaia, I'm aware of everyone on board from home. Veld is in his sixties, entirely unenhanced, and has been retired for years. There's no reason for you to be upset by his presence.

So he knows... all of it? Of what happens...
[Yes, that's fear creeping into her voice: she's figured out something you don't know yet, Vin, and she's sure Veld would know, or at least, be able to guess.]
So who's in charge?

What do you require, Doctor?
[She can throw as many accusations, demands, and questions at him as she likes; his idea of 'duty' is very different to hers and he'll address only what he sees as important.]

What happened?
[In the end, she cares little whether her demands are fulfilled, her accusations answered so much as just having the ability to fling them. It's like her own human dart game.]

[No reason to lie; the redhead made the challenge public, after all, and Lucrecia could find out through back entries if she wanted to.]
You had things you wanted to discuss?

Yes... I..
[she's completely forgotten. Searching files, searching files.]
Are there any laboratory facilities onboard.
For curiosity's sake, of course.
