yup... cold it was. I stood out there for almost 45 min freezin my a$$ off... but was worth it. The lights weren't as evident at first, they just looked like trails from a jet... but then I'd turn around and they'd be gone and show up somewhere else. It was until near the end that they started getting the brighter colors.

Nice job. We don't get the Northern Lights down here in the south. I wish we did, they are pretty.

thnx... just new to photography, usually post my pics up in facebook. It was a little difficult getting the lights in the pics because they were so faint. Even with my exposure set a 1-2 seconds, still didn't pick anything up, so I shot in raw and hoped for the best. After seeing what I was able to do with PS and RAW files, think I'm always going to shoot in RAW.
