So I just posted that maybe LJ is the place to be --- assuming its not also collecting data and selling everything and having ads all the time. I will so move back here if that's the case. Do you know? Will they start becoming a monster like facebook has become? I just read hat facebook is going to have AI chatbots that will be collecting data on whoever is tricked into talking with them. I just can't stand it anymore!
As far as I'm aware, LiveJournal still has almost exactly the same format and does all the same things as it originally did. I think the only thing that's really changed is that they've made the newer page-layouts more compatible with mobile phones. I'm still posting from my desktop PC using HTML, so I'm none too impressed by changes of that sort, but everything else seems much the same.
I can't see LiveJournal ever becoming anything like Facebook. FB is utterly dire in every way!
