I hope your feeling better and that you've been able to enjoy the weekend a bit with rest and relaxation.
I've kind of felt the same lately myself and I'm not even working. It seems that everyday is rush rush rush.

I'm looking forward to getting everything done and just sitting back and enjoying the holidays. We were near your place the other day when we went to Valkenburg to the CHristmas Market. I thought of you as we drove through.

Was it nice there? We were actually supposed to go too but we went to Germany instead. A South African penpal of mine is visiting a place that is only 2 hours drive from here so we went to see her. We have been writing since 1990 and never met before so it was great to meet at last!

It was pretty nice, but I think that I enjoyed the Christmas markets in Dusseldorf better. I did like Valkenburg though, and I hope to get back there again when the weather is a bit warmer and I can do a bit of exploring around the town.

That is fantastic that you were able to meet up with your pen pal after so many years. I hope that yall had a great time. I caught up with a couple of old friends of mine the other night online. One use to be my neighbor about 11 years ago, and I haven't seen her in six years, (She lives in California now) and the other I've never met and we've been friends for 6 years now I think it is. She lives in Australia and we met online. I had a blast catching up to the both of them.
