Books books books :)

I just want to say one thing: it is just impossible to visit amazon.co.uk and not order something. This girl is about to receive 3 new books in about a week :)

Oh well, working in Amsterdam means at least 2 hours in the train every week-day. I guess you can all guess what I am doing there?

I fully agree on Amazon. Although I was able to visit Amazon.fr without buying anything. (I have an option to a CD I will buy later, though.)

I receive gift cheques to Amazon.uk from a mail survey project I participate in. 10£ a month. I am saving for the next set of Johnny Depp movies. :D

YAY for books. I adore books.

I rather visit real bookstores as I love the smell of unopened books :) I've just browsed Amazon a few times to see if the last parts of 'Ice and Fire' are already available.

Oh, I love bookstores too! But as I prefer to read books in English or Finnish, and most of the books here in bookstores are in Dutch, well I rather order online. I do occasionally buy a Dutch book too but I am usually too tired to concentrate on Dutch books after work. I am longing for some Italian books also. But when we come to visit Finland next time, I am going to spend some time in bookstores for sure!

Yes, I know. It was the same in Germany and almost any other country than Finland :))

I'm too lazy to read books in Swedish even though it'd be good and I've read 'long' Swedish at school. It doesn't ineterest me :)

Well, you can find some English books here also but only in the bigger towns.

I have a couple of books for you to read if you want me to bring them in a couple weeks. One is the book that goes with the Da Vinci Code and the other is also a good Dan Brown book.

I still haven't read the Da Vinci Code (and I have it myself) so no point reading that one that goes with it. But the other one I could borrow, if you are not in great hurry to get it back? By the time you come here, I probably haven't finished all the books I have from you at the moment so....?

Oh the book is the 1st one, that goes before the Da Vinci Code. You can borrow them, I am in no hurry.
