You write letters, even though you know they will be of no use. A bunch of words is not going to bring him back, all your hopes and feelings are not going to bring him back. This is just another useless fan letter that he is probably going to overlook, but you write it anyway. You send a letter everyday, ask him how he is, ask him if he is happy. You tell him to be strong, to keep that smile on his face, to keep dancing and to keep fighting.
He will never know that these letters are from you, and you don't mind. Actually, you'd rather keep it that way. You call him from time to time whenever you get the chance to, and your heart feels like it's dissolving in your chest when you hear his voice, soft and low, a little muffled over the phone.
This is all you can do. You are not strong enough to stand up for him, or to fight for him. You are not brave enough to tell him that you believe him, that you want him back, so you pour your thoughts onto pen and paper under a different name. To him, you are just another naive fan who is ridiculously in love with him, and you hope he never finds out the truth. This is all you can do, and you don't want to stop this.
Maybe someday you will tell him the truth, maybe someday you will tell him that you have been the one who's been professing your love for him all along. But then again, maybe you won't, because he knows everything else about you, and you sort of want to keep this to yourself, one of the rare things he doesn't know. Find your way, you scrawl on a piece of paper, and hope he will come back soon.
