Need Help

Mar 09, 2008 22:12

Hey due to my broken leg and lack of transportation I spend a lot of time at home which is ungodly boring. If anyone can suggest some books that will not only be interesting but also really absorbing I would appreciate it.

I have been riding my bike for about two weeks now. In some ways its easier to ride a bike than it is to walk. I can walk unaided but only with a pretty severe limp. I should be ridding more often but I think laziness has crept in. You'd be surprised how much weight I've gained I'm actually what some might consider fat :-). If you saw me ridding it would have either been on Lynhaven or the short stretch of Va Beach that I live by now.

Are you ever going to reply to the e-mail I sent you over myspace forever ago?

I have replied to that email a dozen times but I have never felt confident with my response. I always feel like there is more to research on my part and that my wording comes across too subjective and biased at times and less scientific and objective as I'd like it to be and repetetive and full of filler. (I tend to rant when what I am saying could be said much more crisply and coherently.)

And gosh,You gave me sooooooo much to respond to. You asked me about all of my opinions on abortion and all of my opinions on attachment parenting and I feel kinda guilty for ever putting you up to the task of telling me as much as you know about evolution....

I think shorter emails would work better in the future. HA. I DO intend on responding. Particularily on abortion. It's just a rarity to find the time to devote myself to such an extensive topic. When I try I am usually typing until 5AM and then I realize I've typed the same sentence twice and I give up and decide to start over later when my mind is fresh. ;-)...

Anyway... the last series of books I got into were the Ender's Shadows books... They tell the story of Bean before and after battle-school and I found them entertaining/

I have read those before but I might check them out again. The last time I read them he was writing a new one combining the two series.

I haven't read shadow of the giant. I wasn't even aware that a new one in that series had been published. So thank you, actually.

Have you read Shogun by James Calvell? I read it a while ago and really enjoyed. I rarely read something twice, but am thinking to read it again.
