Going back to my atheist stance. I find it interesting that most people believe religious intolerance is a rarity to be endured and fought issue to issue. Why is it so hard to consider religious intolerance is much more prolific and the consequence of untested truths given to people at an age when truth is so difficult to detect? Ummm I think religious fanatics are pretty much the same no matter where you go. Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia. I will concede that even fundamentalist Buddhist are rather live and let live but thats pretty much it. I'm not talking everyone, I'm just battling this belief that I'm as bad as any fundamentalist Christian.

I think considering the fact that you said yourself that you didn't understand what I meant by the statement above, and I didn't get the chance to fully explain it, it's pretty pointless to respond to it.

And I believe anyone who comes up with a filter of how they are going to view the world and processes everything through it is pretty much guilty of being narrow minded regardless of intentions. The road to the DMV is paved with good intentions.

I'm sorry you feel like I talk to you as though you are stupid. I do know people who I think are stupid, I don't really talk to them. I wish you could take that attitude and realize it means I think you are smart enough to talk about this and I think your opinion is valid enough to argue with ( ... )
