Title: Winter Kissing
Pairing: William/Pete
POV: William's
Rating: PG-13. I guess. There's kissing
Word Count: 404
A/N: So yeah, I guess it's a drabble more than a fic, don't really know what to label it. Wrote it yesterday really fast, hopefully it has helped work out some of my writer's block for the other story I'm working on. Also, it could really be anyone and Pete in this one. I just saw William in my head, so feel free to think that it's soneone else :)

I squinted up at the clear blue sky. It was one of those days that only occurs a handful of times during the winter season. The air crisp, the sun warming you enough so you don’t think it’s cold, even though it’s only 34 degrees and spring seems to be around the next corner. As I turn my head away from the blinding light, seeing small dots in my line of vision for a moment, I start walking towards the bridge further down the street. The sand that has been used on the snow covered sidewalks now crunch underneath my shoes.

With every step I take I feel contentment spread through my veins. I stop in the middle of the bridge, watching the river as it flows beneath me, complete with pieces of ice in different shapes and sizes floating on the surface. A small smile plays across my lips. My body jerks as a small buzzing in my pocket startles me. I take out my phone and smile once again when I see who it’s from.

“U look so pretty watching the river. I wanna kiss you.”

I frown and raise my gaze from the phone, looking around trying to find him. He has to be close. Then I see someone familiar standing on the next bridge over, straight across from me. A huge grin stretches across my face and I start walking the rest of the distance of the bridge. From the corner of my eye I see him doing the same.

He’s waiting in the middle between the bridges, arriving shortly before me since he ran half the way. He always needs to win. The sunshine is playing in his dark hair, making his brown highlights visible and giving it more depth than normally. A slight breeze ruffles his bangs and he crinkles his nose like the strands of hair tickles him. He smiles as I get closer, a real smile, not the one he uses for the press, and it makes his laugh lines visible around his eyes. I walk up close to him, take my hands out of my pockets and cup his cheeks and kiss him softly on the lips.

-          “Does that quench your need for my kiss?” I ask innocently.

He shrugs and says:

-          “Nah, that need can never be quenched”.

I smiled and kissed him again.

-          “Luckily, I feel the same about you”.
