I just want to say this now, while I'm thinking of it.  If you celebrate Mother's Day and enjoy it, I wish you a happy and fulfilling one.  The best way to remember me on Mother's Day, however, is to let it pass without wishing me a happy one.  Hug your kids, hug your mom, and pray for the redemption, but please don't wish me a Happy Mother's Day.

I feel the same way. I love my darling child more than life itself, but it's hard, that day, to think of the joy that my one darling child brings me and not remember the pain of the four I don't have. :-/

I try to tell people every day that I love them, not just one day out of the year. I tell my mom, I tell my kid, and I want to tell you too. Yael, I love you.

Yael, that is so beautiful. If ever another friend loses a child (an gods forbid that happens) I will direct them to that essay.
