It sounds like the whole film thing is just getting to the point where you're one of the "in-crowd". I'll never understand how that works, I guess. Maybe you need to beat someone up . . . or is that just prison . . .
The search for Truth is every writer's primary goal. Some have the fortunate of recognizing what they think it is in a very vague form, while others just poke around in proverbial darkness until they find something that seems solid enough to work with. Simply feeling like you might be able to find it is a big step, I think.
